Greentube, the Novomatic Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has further extended its footprint in North America after obtaining an Online Gaming Service Provider license from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. The Vienna-based supplier is now set up to strike new partnerships with operators in the Constitution State, where online sports betting and casino have been functioning since October 2021.
North America as Key Region
Soon after the successful debut in Pennsylvania, Greentube comes with another important announcement regarding the ever-thriving iGaming market of the United States.
The company continues to broaden its reach and further strengthen its position by adding Connecticut as the third state (after New Jersey and Michigan) where the brand has a license. According to the recently released numbers, the state’s sports betting and online casino market hit record levels in December 2022, with iGaming wagering soaring to $1 billion for the first time within an overall total of $1.16 billion.
