Mystics Fans Get New Interactive Features Through Monumental+

Through a collaboration with BetMGM and Play Anywhere, the network has officially extended its interactive “Monumental Game Center” feature to all Washington Mystics games for the 2025 WNBA season, available exclusively on its Monumental+ (M+) app.

Following a February 2025 rollout for Washington Wizards and Capitals games, MNMT is now the first known regional media rights holder to introduce integrated sports betting and gamification across women’s sports content.

Enhanced Engagement Tools on Monumental+

Within the M+ app, fans can now access real-time betting odds from BetMGM, engage in trivia, participate in polls, and view in-game stats and analytics—all presented as optional, interactive overlays. Viewers must opt in to access these features, with betting functionalities restricted to those aged 21 and over, in compliance with BetMGM’s age verification.

Fans watching via traditional TV broadcasts will notice only limited differences, such as occasional QR code graphics linking them to the app’s second-screen features.

The Game Center is powered by Play Anywhere’s compliance and integration technology, enabling real-time interactions without compromising the viewing experience. “We are honored to continue to partner with Monumental Sports Network to bring an enhanced viewing experience to WNBA fans,” said Yaacov Ben-Yaacov, CEO of Play Anywhere.

The Game Center is available to those with Monumental+ subscriptions or TV provider access. Fans can subscribe directly at monumentalplus.com or download the M+ app to explore the network’s interactive WNBA content.
