ORYX Gaming, a subsidiary of Bragg Gaming Group, and one of the leading content suppliers in the industry has been granted a license to supply its content in Greece. The license was issued by the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
Thanks to the license, ORYX is now fully compliant in the jurisdiction. The market in Greece has moved from an interim framework to become a fully regulated market, in line with a general trend in Europe.
ORYX Gaming, which recently went live in Mexico, is now able to supply its Greek licensed customers, including OPAP, Stoiximan, Betsson and NetBet.
Representatives from Bragg Gaming Group say that Greece has the potential to become one of the most important markets for the company and that they cannot wait to take their slots to the players in Greece.
Chris Looney, Chief Commercial Officer at Bragg said: “Greece has the potential to become an important market for the group and this license underpins our commitment to our customers in the jurisdiction and represents a new milestone for us in our plans for expansion in regulated markets in Europe, North America and globally.
“Our technology is flexible, and it gives us the agility to adapt quickly to new market regulations, and we look forward to launching in many more new markets over the coming quarters with our in-house developed content, our player engagement tools and exclusive third-party content.
“We have a superb new roadmap of exclusive games coming up, including an increasing proportion from our own in-house studios, and we can’t wait to bring them to Greek slots fans.”
ORYX is already licensed in Malta and Romania. The supplier is also certified to offer content in Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Switzerland, Gibraltar, Estonia, Latvia, and Colombia. It will also be entering the Dutch market in Q4 2021.
