SOFTSWISS announced that it joined forces with CoinsPaid, a crypto payment processing supplier, to donate USD 50,000 to the joint forces to help people who experienced the earthquake that hit Turkey.
The Turkey-Syria earthquake occurred in the early hours of February 6 with a magnitude of 7.8 close to the city of Gaziantep in Turkey. Just a few hours later, another strong earthquake of magnitude 7.5 followed.
The goal of the donation is to help those affected in this natural disaster so to quickly re-build their lives from scratch and get access to basic human needs.
SOFTSWISS and CoinsPaid also provided help in the form of containers for life and brought them to survivors. They helped many people with the main focus on people with emergencies, parents with disabled kids, and those who lost their relatives, to get food and clean water.
Nurullah Yildiz, a SOFTSWISS representative, who visited the earthquake-affected territory in Turkey, notes: “When we were in the disaster area, we saw towns lying in ruins. It was devastating. We contacted the survivors to find out what they needed most and how we could help.”
