Latest News

PointsBet New York has launched its online and mobile sports betting app. New York marks the ninth operational state for PointsBet’s sports betting product, following launches in New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado, Michigan, West Virginia and Virginia.

Esports Entertainment Group has announced that it has received an Order approving a Transactional Waiver from the Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement which permits the company to begin accepting bets in the state.

The Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programmes (DDAP), Penn State University (PSU) and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) released the first-of-its-kind report analysing the impact of Interactive Gaming in Pennsylvania.

JCM Global (JCM) has installed its leading ICB Intelligent Cash Box system at Harrah’s Resort Southern California. The installation marks the second Harrah’s Casino in the state supported by ICB, the other being Harrah’s Northern California.

Gambling.com Group Limited has completed the application process and has been granted a waiver by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board to provide marketing services to licensed gaming operators in the state.

Kings Entertainment Group has begun trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) on January 24. The shares of the company are now trading on the CSE under the ticker “JKPT”.

New Partnerships

Affinity Interactive (AI) and Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) announced that they have entered into a definitive multi-year agreement for market access in the State of Missouri.

NeoPollard Interactive (NPi) has signed a contract with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC). NPi said the agreement comprises a five-year initial contract term, whereby ALC will gain access to NPi’s NeoGames Studio library of game content.

PLLAY Labs has announced a partnership with one of the fastest-growing esports franchises, the Kansas City Pioneers. The two companies will bridge esports and technology to enhance fan monetisation and engagement experiences across different avenues.

Neurotechnology company Kernel and Aim Lab are building off their previously announced partnership to reveal a first-of-its-kind effort to bring neuro measurement to the mainstream of game design and player development.

The New Jersey Devils have announced a multi-year partnership with Jackpocket, the leading lottery app in the US to provide a secure way to order official state lottery tickets. With this partnership, the company becomes the Devils Official Lottery Courier Partner.

Elys Game Technology Corp has announced a binding term sheet with Lottomatica that outlines the entry into a definitive agreement and ancillary agreements to design, develop and service a customised sportsbook technology platform focused on Lottomatica’s North American growth initiatives.

New Appointment

DraftKings has named Stephanie Sherman as its new Chief Marketing Officer, a move that the operator says will consolidate all marketing functions under her leadership. Sherman joined DraftKings in 2013 as one of the first 15 employees of the company.
