Jackpocket has appointed Kelly Gillease as a senior advisor to its board of directors. Stepping into this role, Gillease will work with Jackpocket’s board and executive team to help guide the company’s short and long-term marketing goals as it continues its rapid growth and product expansion. Gillease brings over 20 years of experience driving strategic growth and scale at consumer startups, including StudyBlue, TripAdvisor and Viator.

eCOGRA has announced its recent authorisation by the Connecticut State Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) Gaming Division to offer its comprehensive range of services in Connecticut. This milestone brings eCOGRA’s total number of U.S. Jurisdictions to six, and its total number of global jurisdictions to 36, cementing its position as a market leader in providing independent testing, inspection and certification services to the online gambling industry.

GMA Consulting has announced that Josh Swissman, a Founding Partner and Managing Director, has been selected as the G2E Education Chair for Global Gaming Expo 2023. Swissman will oversee the programming and execution of G2E’s four-day education programme from October 9 to 12 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, NV.

International Game Technology PLC announced it successfully launched a compelling new, ten-game set for Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC). AGLC and IGT started the official rollout of the new game set in April 2023 and will continue until more than 2600 of AGLC’s legacy Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) are replaced with modern, high-performing IGT CrystalDual 27 VLTs featuring this new, in-demand game content.

Tiidal Gaming Group Corp. announced the completion of the sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tiidal Gaming NZ Limited (Sportsflare), to Entain Holdings (UK) Limited (Entain), for gross proceeds of C$13,250,000 (the Purchase Price), subject to standard transaction adjustments.

Partnerships

In celebration of being in Las Vegas for two years, Mohegan Casino Las Vegas inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, has partnered with Virgin Voyages to give new Momentum Rewards Members the ability to play and earn a Virgin Voyages cruise on their first visit. Momentum is Mohegan’s exclusive rewards programme. The more a guest plays, the faster they will elevate their Status Level, and the higher the status, the more amazing benefits the guest will earn at the casino’s nearly 650 slot machines and 50 table games.

The Seneca Nation has reached an agreement in principle with New York State for a new 20-year casino gaming compact. The Nation’s current compact, signed in 2002, is set to expire on December 9 of this year. The Nation signed its current compact agreement with New York State in August 2002, opening the door to an unprecedented wave of private investment and job creation in Western New York.

IGT Global Solutions Corporation, a subsidiary of International Game Technology, and Scientific Games LLC announced that they, along with local partner SAGA Consultoria e Representações Comerciais e Empresariais (SAGA), have formed a consortium and executed a concession agreement with the Minas Gerais State Lottery (LEMG) to operate an instant and passive lottery in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
