Yesterday night in Ceuta, the Spanish company MGA Games, specialists in developing localised slot games for global operators, affirmed its leading position in the national online gaming market. The autonomous city is expanding thanks to the number of technology companies established in the city, including more than 20 operators in the online gaming sector. Recognising the potential of Ceuta, MGA Games, yesterday held an exclusive event attended by more than 50 representatives of online casinos nationwide. The event presented the key elements that have made MGA Games a leading supplier and strategic partner for all its clients.
José Antonio Giacomelli, General Manager at MGA Games, in his welcoming speech, highlighted aspects such as the innovation and solvency of MGA Games as well as the hard work and enthusiasm behind each of their productions. He also explained how humour is a distinguishing feature and hallmark of the company and its Spanish Celebrities collection, as well as a key element that excites users. According to Giacomelli, combining humor and product localisation is, and will continue to be, a company strategy for the upcoming releases in 2023.
The evening continued in true MGA Games style, with the MGA Games Comedy Club, hosted by the famous comedian Juan Muñoz, who for two decades formed part of Spain’s best-known comedy duo – Cruz and Ray. The guests attending the event at Terrazas El Cielo de Ceuta were thoroughly entertained by the comedian with his hilarious monologues, jokes, and pranks.
During the evening, guests relived performances from some of MGA Game’s most humorous and successful productions, such as Chiquito de la Calzada, Señor Barragán, Eugenio, and El Sevilla. Details of the new 3-reel production for this coming November starring Mario Vaquerizo, the famous television collaborator and singer of the band Nancys Rubias, were also revealed.
The biggest surprise of the evening, announced by Juan Muñoz himself, was that his character would be the last Spanish Celebrities release for 2022. The comedian was delighted with the slot game and thanked MGA Games for inviting him to be part of this legendary collection of slot games. According to Muñoz, the result is exceptional, and the original audio and personalised songs included make it a unique production.
The MGA Games management was delighted with their reception from the national operators in Ceuta and the city administration. Local government delegates were present at the event, including the Minister of Finance, Economy, and Public Function of Ceuta, Kissy Chandiramani, who spoke about their project to turn the autonomous city into an attractive location for companies dedicated to the online gaming sector.
