Iconic fast bowler joins Win Millions Lotto’s esteemed cast of cricketing heroes in fundraising efforts for conservation projects in Africa and India.
Dale Steyn is the latest cricketing hero to sign up with Win Millions Lotto, joining some of his most storied former opponents in Dwayne Bravo, Andre Russell and Dinesh Karthik as the company’s partner.
South Africa’s all-time top wicket-taker will be asking his followers to play the world’s biggest lotteries on Win Millions Lotto through his social media accounts – offering them the chance to win life-changing sums of money.
Fans will also be able to enter future raffles where they can win “meet-and-greet” experiences with their hero, widely regarded as the greatest fast bowler of his generation.
In doing so, they’ll be helping protect endangered wildlife in Africa and India. As part of the partnership, a share of each lottery ticket sold will go to help Steyn’s charity of choice – Kevin Pietersen’s The Legacy Experience Foundation (TLEF).
TLEF, set up by England legend Pietersen in 2017, is a ‘non-profit organisation set up in Switzerland that promotes conservation and runs projects for the protection of the rhino and other endangered ‘keystone species’ in Africa and India.
Commenting on his new partnership with Win Millions Lotto, Steyn said: “I’m delighted to be working with Win Millions Lotto to help a conservation charity close to my heart. I love the work Kevin does with his Foundation and it’s great to be able to help in this fun and exciting way.”
“I’m asking my followers to play Win Millions Lotto’s lotteries through my Instagram page – and I’m looking forward to meeting some of them in the future over dinner where we can chat about all things cricket!”
“I’d heard about the work Dwayne, Andre and Dinesh were doing with their own chosen charities and knew I had to be involved.”
With Steyn joining Bravo, Russell and Karthik in Win Millions Lotto’s cricketing ‘dream team’, many more stars across the worlds of sport, music and film are set to join as partners over the next 12 months.
Win Millions Lotto CEO Sulim Malook added: “We are delighted to have Dale join our brilliant roster of cricketers and are so proud to not only offer his fans the chance to win life-changing cash prizes but also to meet one of the best bowlers of all time.”
“Our innovative model means high-profile personalities can use their social media for good – just like Dale is doing with The Legacy Experience Foundation. Lottery players tend to play their lucky numbers week after week, year after year. For as long as they keep playing, charities will keep benefitting.”
