Independent slots studio Thunderkick is calling on players to grab the hammer and swing with 12 Bolts of Thunder, its newest release.

Set in the skies amidst white clouds and a beautiful blue backdrop, the slot presents a 5×4 game grid where symbols including classic slot icons must make winning combinations across 20 paylines to award a win. Wild symbols can also appear across any reels, substituting for all symbols except the Bonus and Hammer.

Hammer symbols can appear on the second, third and fourth reels, awarding Hammer wins when four or more land on a single spin. The size of the win depends on the amount of Hammers that land, with players awarded between 2x and 1,000x their bet.

Three or more Bonus symbols landing will trigger the Bonus Game, with a select number of Free Spins awarded to the player depending on how many Bonus symbols land. Here, any Hammer wins that occur will upgrade each multiplier upon the Hammer Paytable, with chances to reach 30,000x the player’s bet.

The release also features a Bonus Buy option, allowing players in select jurisdictions to trigger the free spins bonus round for a cost of 100x their base bet.

12 Bolts of Thunder marks the first game of 2024 for Thunderkick, following multiple acclaimed titles last year including Hellapenos and Hot Potato. The provider is gearing up for a monumental year, with entry into more regulated markets on the horizon alongside further releases that are set to contribute to its continued growth.

Mike Collins, Product Owner at Thunderkick, said: “Lightning is set to strike in 12 Bolts of Thunder, our new slot that invites players to climb the Hammer paytable towards monumental wins.

“With plenty of exciting features such as the aforementioned Hammer pay system, alongside a powerful Bonus Game with chances to boost multipliers up to 30,000x your bet, this is the first of many dynamic and forward-thinking titles from Thunderkick this year.”
