Betano has been named an ‘official tournament supporter’ of the 2026 FIFA World Cup across Europe and South America, extending its growing relationship with FIFA ahead of the biggest tournament in the footballing calendar.

The tournament, which will run from 11 June to 19 July 2026 across Canada, Mexico and the US, will be the first FIFA World Cup to feature 48 national teams.

Betano’s deal marks the third partnership between FIFA and its owner Kaizen Gaming

The operator first became a FIFA partner during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where it served as an official regional supporter for Europe, becoming the first sports betting operator to partner with FIFA.

Last summer, the operator was an official partner of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

“We are delighted to welcome Betano among the Tournament Supporters of the FIFA World Cup 2026,” said FIFA’s Chief Business Officer, Romy Gai.

“Since we first partnered with Betano four years ago, we have seen a genuine commitment to sporting integrity, bringing fans closer to our game and finding new, engaging ways to entertain them.

“We share these objectives and are glad to have this powerhouse by our side as we look forward to uniting the world through football once again in North America and beyond.”

Betano boosting its presence once again

The deal also follows news late last month of Betano becoming an official regional sponsor of the Argentina national football team – the reigning World Cup champions.

It has a heavy presence in South America, gaining other sponsorship deals with domestic sides Flamengo, Atletico Mineiro, Fluminense and River Plate, as well as being the most downloaded sports app in Brazil, according to Sensor Tower’s 2026 State of Mobile Report.

Betano also holds the naming rights to Brazil’s top football division, the Brasileirão, and expanded its presence in Africa earlier this year by launching in Ghana.

As part of the partnership, the company will launch a series of digital and physical fan engagement campaigns across Europe and South America during the tournament.

George Daskalakis, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kaizen Gaming, added: “Partnering with FIFA for the third time is a proud milestone for everyone at Kaizen Gaming and a clear reflection of our global evolution.

“The FIFA World Cup 2026 is the ultimate intersection of sport and entertainment, reaching billions of people. For us, it is the perfect stage to solidify Betano as the most trusted brand globally for responsible online sports betting.

“Our focus now is to deliver a thrilling, innovative and secure experience for fans throughout the tournament.”
