Messi & Del Piero lead Socios.com global advertising charge

This weekend, football fan token platform Socios.com premiered its first global advertising campaign featuring ‘football gods’ Alessandro Del Piero and Lionel Messi.

Titled “Together We Can Be More”, the campaign is focused on promoting the unrestricted benefits of Socios fan tokens to football fans worldwide, regardless of traditional boundaries.

Founded by former igaming entrepreneur Alexandre Dreyfus, the Socios.com platform works with football clubs and leagues to develop and launch Blockchain configured fan tokens, rewarding fans with unique prizes and experiences.

Of significance, Dreyfus underlines that beyond rewards, fan tokens will transform fans engagement with clubs and players through the use of Blockchain and further linked web 3.0 innovations.

Generating maximum anticipation, Socios campaign was ‘leaked’ to football transfers expert – Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano – who made his 7.8 million followers on Twitter aware of a “comeback for a legendary Italian number10 alongside Leo Messi”.  

“Alessandro del Piero was a virtuoso as a footballer, one of the best players ever, and respected worldwide for his play and elegance. Having his support, especially in Italy where we have 10 partners, is very important,” Dreyfus commented on the launch of Socios’ first global campaign.

“With Del Piero and Messi, we are now ready to take the next step in our evolution, which will come thanks to this new TV campaign that will bring us closer to our goal of making Fan Tokens and the Socios.com app essential elements in fans’ lives.”

Last March, Socios.com signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Lionel Messi worth a reported $20 million.  Messi backed the partnership, stating that “Fans deserve to be recognised for their support. They deserve opportunities to influence the teams they love.
