Today, June 21st, marks an important day in the calendar for the Deluxe Bingo Hastings venue. One year ago to the day, the popular bingo venue reopened its doors after more than two years of closure.
To celebrate the hugely popular reopening of the iconic Deluxe Bingo Hastings venue, the team at Deluxe threw a massive party for its customers yesterday, dishing out a free gift bag to every patron and the opportunity to win a whole host of fabulous prizes in raffles running throughout the day.
Grand Opening
When Deluxe Bingo Hastings reopened its doors in June last year, over 300 guests attended, enjoying a full day of festivities featuring two bingo sessions and live entertainment from Beachy Brass. Hastings and Rye MP Helena Dollimore and Councillor Becca Horn, Mayor of Hastings, cut the ribbon to officially reopen the popular bingo venue, joining Jeremy Godden, Managing Director of Godden Gaming Organisation which owns the Deluxe.
The venue, which has been a social hub in the town for over 40 years, reopened under the ownership of Godden Gaming Organisation with a completely transformed facility featuring fresh shop fronts, a new canopy, a complete interior makeover, updated TVs, and fully refreshed gaming areas.
Ileana Danescu, General Manager of Deluxe Bingo Hastings, said:
“We’ve had an incredible year since reopening and the response from customers has been overwhelming. The venue has always been special to Hastings and it’s lovely to see it busy again with regular customers returning.
“We’ve had some big wins this year too, with customers walking away with thousands of pounds after a single bingo session, and our monthly Mega Money Nights have been particularly popular, with people also loving the chance to win free bronze packages each month.”
Stephen Lawrence, Chief Operating Officer of Deluxe Bingo Hastings, added:
“I’m thrilled to have been part of bringing Deluxe Bingo back to Hastings. When we reopened last June, there was such a strong sense of excitement from the community – people had been waiting years to see this venue return.
“From the outset, our goal was to bring back a venue Hastings truly deserves, one that respects its heritage while delivering the modern experience customers now expect. It’s been incredible to see the attendance levels and how popular it’s become, and I’m so proud of the team and everything we’ve achieved together in this first year. We have more exciting plans in the pipeline, and the future for the Deluxe looks really bright.”
