Midnite and Octoplay have unveiled Midnite Express, a UK-exclusive online slot that marks the first co-developed game from the companies’ content partnership.
The launch marks a significant step in the relationship between the operator and the Malta-based studio, moving beyond a standard supplier integration towards bespoke content designed specifically for Midnite’s player base.
First custom game for Midnite
Midnite Express is built around the Hold and Win mechanics used in Octoplay’s Fire Rail Express, a title the supplier says has been among its strongest performers in the United States.
According to Octoplay, the original game has maintained a top-three position in the EILERS-FANTINI Online Game Performance report’s “New Top Game Ranks – Slots” category for three consecutive months, and Midnite Express adapts those mechanics exclusively for UK slots players.
Ralitsa Georgieva, chief executive of Octoplay, said:

Octoplay expands UK presence
Octoplay has been expanding its footprint in the UK market since its launch in 2022.
The supplier boasts recent UK integrations include Bally’s Intralot, alongside earlier launches with 888, Mr Green, Virgin Bet and LiveScore Bet.
Founded by Carl Ejlertsson, formerly of Red Tiger Gaming and Evolution, the company now operates across 18 regulated markets and partners with more than 80 operators worldwide.
Octoplay holds licences from the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority, whilst
Midnite is a UK-facing betting and gaming operator that has expanded rapidly across sports betting and online casino products.
Midnite Express is expected to be the first of several joint projects between the companies. The original partnership roadmap also included plans to introduce Octoplay’s Jackpot Hunt product across Midnite’s platform as the relationship develops further.
For Midnite, the launch provides a casino title unavailable elsewhere in the UK market. For Octoplay, it represents another example of the supplier’s push into bespoke operator partnerships as competition among content providers continues to intensify.
