By | May 19, 2026

Evolution has expanded its North American operations with a new live dealer studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan, marking another step in its push across regulated US gaming markets.

The facility becomes Evolution’s seventh live casino studio in the United States and its second in Michigan, following its initial launch in 2021. It is designed to increase capacity for live dealer content and support rising demand from operators and players.

The studio will deliver live casino games through Evolution and its sister brand Ezugi. Core offerings include Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat, alongside upcoming titles such as Ice Fishing and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette.

Through Ezugi’s catalogue, operators gain additional table variants including EZ Baccarat and Triple Zero Roulette, expanding gameplay options in Michigan.

Expanded Game Offering for Michigan Players

The Grand Rapids studio is intended to broaden live gaming capacity in a key US market. By increasing production space, Evolution aims to support higher volumes of simultaneous gameplay while maintaining existing services.

The facility reinforces its dual-brand strategy in the US, with Evolution and Ezugi operating together to expand live dealer experiences. New titles planned for later this year will further extend the portfolio.

Evolution said the expansion reflects continued investment in regulated markets and rising demand for live online casino entertainment across North America.

Local Impact and Market Growth Strategy

The studio is also expected to create employment opportunities in Grand Rapids. Evolution highlighted job creation as part of its commitment to local economic activity.

The company’s US strategy focuses on building infrastructure in regulated jurisdictions, with Michigan serving as a key hub.

Jacob Claesson, Chief Executive Officer of Evolution North America, said: “We are incredibly excited to open our new Grand Rapids studio and continue expanding Evolution’s presence in the United States. Michigan is an important market for us, and this new studio allows us to further enhance the player experience while increasing our capacity to offer our world-leading live casino content to operators and players across the state.”

He added: “Beyond expanding our live dealer offering, this studio creates new employment opportunities within the Grand Rapids community. The launch reflects Evolution’s continued commitment to investing in regulated U.S. markets, delivering premium entertainment experiences, and supporting local economic growth.”

Evolution operates multiple live casino studios across regulated US jurisdictions and continues to scale its presence amid rising demand for real-time online gaming.

ICE Fishing Reaches Player Milestone

In related updates from the company, Evolution also highlighted strong performance from its live game ICE Fishing, which recently surpassed 20,000 concurrent players. The title has now peaked above 23,000 simultaneous users, placing it alongside some of the company’s most widely played live entertainment products.

The achievement places ICE Fishing among Evolution’s highest-capacity live titles, following continued growth in player engagement since launch. The company noted that the game’s performance reflects sustained interest in innovative live casino formats and real-time interactive gameplay.

Evolution said the continued rise in participation underscores ongoing momentum in its live casino portfolio as it expands across international regulated markets.
