International Game Technology PLC has announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation has expanded its lottery gaming systems agreement to offer cutting-edge cashless lottery technology for Washington’s Lottery. Thanks to the new deal, Washington will become the seventh U.S. state to benefit from IGT’s cashless lottery products. This agreement will also extend IGT’s existing contract by June 30, 2029.
Washington’s Lottery is one of the U.S. leaders in the deployment of self-service vending machines, with lottery machines making 45 percent of its entire retail offer. IGT will undertake hardware modifications and software development to provide 2,000 lottery vending machines with cashless functionality. It will allow Washington’s Lottery customers to buy lottery products with debit cards on GameTouch
24, IGT’s GameTouch 28, and GameTouch 20 self-service vending machines that are situated at lottery retailers across the state.
Speaking on the new milestone, Washington’s Lottery Director, Marcus Glasper said:

The addition of cashless functionality on self-service machines is another chapter in our development, and allows players to have a flexible, convenient, and secure way to purchase their favorite lottery games.”
