The man the myth the legend! Ringo Starr, the legendary drummer and former member of one of the most popular and world-famous bands, The Beatles, released a new album via recording company Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) and will perform at several US casinos this fall.
The album, which is currently available on vinyl, CD and digital download, contains 4 songs – World Go Round, Everyone and Everything, Let’s Be Friends and Free Your Soul.
Ringo Starr started the US tour with his All Starr Band on September 5, 2022, and the latest releases will be available for everyone to hear at SoaringEagle Casino on September 30 in Michigan, Four Winds Casino in Buffalo, Michigan on October 1…
And at Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota on October 2.
Ringo Starr releases the new album as a continuation of the ‘peace and love’ message that was the core of his work with The Beatles, and in this way pays homage to his former band.
Starr commented: “Every song on this EP relates to peace and love. When I was in the Beatles we started looking at the world in the ’60s and thanks to the hippies a lot of us had a change of mind and peace and love and helping each other and being kind if you can become our goal.
“So I always look for songs that speak to that and all these songs have the same sentiment just written in a different way.”
He also elaborated on his love for recording music and added that he is looking forward to what awaits him in the future.
“I also love the magic of making a record,” Starr added. “I have a lot of fun and I am open-minded, and it’s great to see what happens.”
A little about the Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band
All-Starr Band is a live rock supergroup, founded in 1989, created by producer David Fishof and led by this legendary drummer. The group performed almost 500 live shows around the world!
The band currently has 7 members – Ringo Starr (vocals, drums, piano), Steve Lukather (guitars, bass and vocals), Gregg Bissonette (drums, percussion, trumpet and backing vocals), Edgar Winter (keyboards, saxophone, percussion and vocals), Hamish Stuart (bass, guitar and vocals), Warren Ham (saxophone, percussion, keyboards, harmonica and vocals) and Colin Hay (guitar, harmonica and vocals).
