This will enable the company to extend its foothold in the Greek market. According to the statement of the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC), the brand can legally deliver B2B gambling services.

The latest license will allow the aggregator to provide its services to local operators in Greece for the next seven years. Based on the licensing conditions, the SOFTSWISS aggregator will supply operators with full access to the games from 12 studios.

As a reminder, SOFTSWISS has already acquired a Greek B2C gaming license for the initial partner project in the national iGaming market. This license is awarded for the operation in Greece and will be available to users with Greek passports, bank accounts, IDs, plus permanent residents of the state.

The operation across Greece has become possible after the government adopted new regulatory rules in October 2019. Following the step, the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) announced the application process for online gaming licenses in 2020. The latest rules will enable the acquisition of one of the two types of licenses: online gambling or online betting. The new rules will also provide both B2C licenses and B2B gambling solution licenses.

Speaking on the new milestone, Andrey Starovoitov, COO at SOFTSWISS said:

“Obtaining a Greek gaming license was the result of SOFTSWISS’ long and hard work, which over the years has accumulated extensive experience and understanding of the iGaming market. Recognizing the needs of our clients, we are constantly moving towards development and finding new solutions. One of them was getting local licenses, which allows SOFTSWISS to expand its presence in new regions.”

According to his words, this summer they have opened a Greek market with a B2C license. Thanks to the latest B2B license, local brands will be able to relish the advantages of the SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator. They have a lot to provide to the local gambling industry, so he is sure there are a lot of exciting projects and agreements ahead of them.
