The woman (who was only identified as Graciela) was playing a $3.75 spin on the Buffalo Grand slot machine when the big win landed.
The Grand progressive jackpot at Sahara for $1,390,165 was the third and biggest jackpot of the Independence Day weekend.
The Sahara hosts nearly 600 slot machines and video poker terminals on their casino floor.
