Esports Technologies, a powerful provider of award-winning esports wagering solutions and technologies, has just unveiled the acquisition of Aspire Global’s B2C business for $75.9 million.
According to the deal, Esports Technologies has acquired Aspire’s portfolio of B2C online casino and sportsbook platforms, including Karamba, Griffon Casino, Hopa, BetTarget, Dansk777, and GenerationVIP. In addition, Esports Technologies got access to gaming licensing in Tier 1 markets such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Malta, and Denmark.
Esports Technologies wants to leverage the enhanced market access from the acquisition projects and to cross-sell esports betting opportunities. This would enhance the esports revenue, betting transactions, and the overall customer base.
According to the info for the latest 12-month period including September 2021, Aspire Global’s B2C earnings was $78.3, and its EBITDA was $7.9m, a 43% and 30% gain over the identical period in the year before. Over the same period, the B2C business achieved wagering of $1.86 billion and $183m in cash deposits from 1.25m users.
Under the terms of the new deal, Aspire Global will be the back-end provider for the obtained B2C brands, guaranteeing continuity of the operation, while offering Esports Technologies wagering solutions on its platform.
